Who is Ziporah Paskman?

 
Ziporah Paskman
Ziporah has been working freelance in the television and film industry for nearly 15 years. She has contracted with companies such as Banyan Productions (Trading Spaces, The Psychic Next Door) Cineflix, Canada (William Shatners Weird or What?) and Mike Hoff Productions (Extreme Forensics). She has also worked on numerous independent films including Bridge to Nowhere, The Avenger, Key of D, Escape from the Ladies Room, and others. Check out her full list of credits here.
Ziporah also spent many years as a secondary school teacher helping students learn and love the craft of filmmaking. She also taught digital photography as well as web design and basic computer skills to incoming freshman. Her digital photography course was the first of its kind at the school, and despite budget constraints, she brought her students to the regional art fair where several of them placed against better equipped schools.
Ziporah graduated Magna Cum Laude from Rowan University's School of Communication with a Bachelor of Arts degree, specializing in Radio, Television and Film Studies. Her senior project Finding the Light; which she wrote and produced, won a Cine Golden Eagle. Recent accomplishments include Addicted,which received an audience favorite award, and two Remi Awards for Escape from the Ladies Room and Devour.
Ziporah is very active in the film community. She is a member of the FMPTA-Tampa Chapter, and is the organizer for TBFRN. She also has an upcoming project with a local movie company producing a film competition here in the Tampa Bay area.
